Ina Paarman’s Creamy Curry with Apricot Chutney

Ina Paarman's Creamy Curry with Apricot ChutneyOccasionally I’ll try ready made sauces just to see what they’re like. This one promised to be “A mild and creamy Coronation-style curry sauce enhanced with apricot chutney. Ideal for the whole family.” Certainly it looked very tasty in its attractive packaging.

Purified water, Canola oil (23%), Apricot chutney, Sugar, Spirit vinegar, Modified cornstarch, Tomato, Spices, Salt, Cider vinegar, Mustard, Onion, Garlic, Pasteurised egg yolk powder, Stabiliser: Xanthan gum, Citric acid, Ginger, Lactic acid, Preservative: Sorbic acid, Yeast extract, Natural and nature identical flavours.

Egg. Manufactured in a factory that uses treenuts.

This was truly revolting – gloopy and bland. It was so bad that I don’t want to think about it, far less write about it.
