Decanter require temporary warehouse staff for their prestigious annual Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) competition.
Warehouse Wine Assistant
Saturday 26 – Thursday 31 March 2011
The work will take place in our warehouse in Kent from Saturday 26 to Thursday 31 March 2011. We will provide accommodation (shared rooms) and full catering.
The role will involve working closely with the Tastings Director to organise the DWWA wines, including:
* Checking and editing wine labels against our online system
* Updating the DWWA database
* Dealing with wine queries
* Helping with the day-to-day work in the warehouse
Payment is a fixed daily rate of £120. The work is hard and involves long hours starting 8.00am in the warehouse.
The ideal candidates will be passionate about wine, energetic and hard-working. They will have a very good wine knowledge (diploma level), meticulous attention to detail and work well as part of a team and under their own initiative.
